The employee journal is located under Your company → Employees → [Employee] → Journal and is used for systematically documenting observations, conversations, and agreements between managers and employees. It helps track goal agreements, feedback, and HR talks and lets you keep transparent, understandable communication throughout the entire employment period.

With the “Add journal entry“ button, you open a dialog window with these fields:

Employee mood: Choose between
Happy,
Neutral or
Sad
Entry: Note or feedback text about conversations or observations
Reminder: Option to set a date for later review (e.g. to track goals)
Visibility: Control whether the entry is visible to the employee or stays internal only
Employees can view entries visible to them in their journal and write their own posts – right here: Profile – Journal
Employees can also create their own entries in the “Journal” tab of their profile. This allows them to jot down personal notes or feedback that managers can see.
Reminders help managers automatically check set goals or agreements on a specific date. This way, employee development stays easy to track.
