Organizations

The main view of the area consists of a tabular display in which the various organizations are listed. The list can be filtered and sorted according to various criteria. Each line contains information on

  • Short name of the organization (a 3-4 digit abbreviation, highlighted in color)
  • Full name and logo of the organization
  • Type of organization (e.g. customer, supplier)
  • Number of projects and members (number of assigned contact persons)
  • Creation date of the data record
  • Status of the organization (active/inactive)

You can create new organizations using the "+ Add organization" button.

Saving views

To make your work easier, views of the list can be saved. To do this, use the "Save as new view" button after adjusting the filters and sorting. Here you can assign a title to the view and specify whether this view is only visible to the user or to everyone in the team.

As soon as the view is saved, a new button appears in the bar above the list, which enables quick access to this specific view.

Example: You could, for example, filter for all "active" (status) "prospects" (organization type) in order to have the current sales opportunities quickly to hand at any time.

Detailed view

If you click on an organization in the organization list, the detailed view of this organization opens. All important information and administration options are summarized here.

The detailed view of an organization is divided into several areas, each of which contains different information and functions.

Basic information

Basic information about the organization is displayed in this block:

  • Name: The full name of the organization.
  • Short name: A short name for the organization, which is used for a better overview.
  • Type: The type of organization, e.g. customer, supplier or partner.
  • Legal form: The legal structure of the organization, e.g. GmbH or AG.
  • Hourly rate: The set hourly rate for billing projects.
  • Logo: The company logo of the organization, if stored.

Contact details

This block shows the organization's main contact information:

  • Address: The organization's mailing address.
  • Email: The main email address for making contact.
  • Phone number: The phone number for direct contact.
  • Fax number: The organization's fax number (optional).
  • Website: The URL to the organization's website.

Legal information

All legally relevant data on the organization is listed here:

  • Tax number: The organization's tax identification number.
  • Register number: The organization's commercial register number.
  • Register court: The competent commercial register court.

Main area

Members

This section lists all persons who are registered as members or contact persons of the organization:

  • Name: The full name of the contact person.
  • Position: The person's role or position within the organization, e.g. CEO, Sales.
  • Manage members: Members can be added, edited or removed via this button.

Projects

This block lists all projects that are linked to the organization:

  • Short name: The short name of the project.
  • Name: The full name of the project.
  • Type: The type of project, e.g. ongoing or one-off.
  • Access: The access type, e.g. public or private.
  • Manage projects: This button can be used to add or manage projects.
