What are Leadtime Workspaces?

Notion image

A Leadtime Work space is the central digital workspace in which you organize and manage your company. Think of this workspace as a virtual office where all relevant information and tools come together in one place. Here you can, among other things:

  • Structure your company: Manage your employees, teams, customers and partners.
  • Organize projects and tasks: Keep track of ongoing and planned work.
  • Appointments, quotes and invoices: Create and manage your business processes efficiently.
  • Centralized data storage: All information is bundled in one place, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.

Technical background

The technical basis of a Leadtime Workspace is Kubernetes, a modern container orchestration system. Kubernetes automates the deployment, scaling and management of container applications. Each Leadtime instance runs in a separate container that is completely isolated from other instances. This architecture has several decisive advantages:

  1. High security
    1. Each workspace is an isolated container, which means that your company's data is completely isolated from other workspaces. This ensures maximum data security within the platform.

  1. Dynamic scaling
    1. If your workspace is used particularly intensively - for example due to high project activity or data processing - Kubernetes automatically allocates additional resources such as memory or computing power. This guarantees consistently high speed and user-friendliness.

  1. Self-healing
    1. If a problem occurs in your workspace, it is automatically restarted. Within a few moments, the workspace is available again without affecting data or running processes.

One workspace per domain

Each workspace is permanently linked to the licensee's domain. A separate workspace is provided for each Leadtime customer, which is linked to the main domain of the respective company. This domain is not only used for identification purposes, but also as an access point to your workspace.

You can access your workspace via the following link:

http://leadtime.de/app/**yourdomain**

The last URL segment(yourdomain) is the domain that you specified when setting up your workspace.

Membership in several workspaces

It is possible for a user to work in several workspaces. This can be the case if a user works for several companies that use Leadtime to organize their work. A user can be logged into several workspaces at the same time and can easily switch between the available workspaces.

This feature is particularly useful for freelancers, consultants or service providers who work with different companies. The simple switching function allows users to seamlessly access the relevant information and tools in different workspaces without having to log in again.
