The ticket list view in Leadtime offers a powerful way to organize and filter tasks and tickets clearly, especially when a company works with a large number of tickets. This view can be used both within a single project and across projects. The following section describes the purpose, benefits and functionality of the list view.

Purpose and advantages of the list view
The list view helps to manage a large number of tasks efficiently. Especially in companies that are working on several projects at the same time or in teams in which many tasks are being processed, the list view provides a structured overview of all tasks and their status. The list view enables quick filtering and sorting so that relevant tasks can be found easily.
Advantages of the list view:
- Clarity: all tasks in a project or across projects are displayed in a clear, table-like format.
- Flexibility: The view can be customized. Filters and sorting help to display only the tasks relevant to the user.
- Efficient organization: By creating and saving views, daily work can be made easier by focusing on specific tasks or ticket categories.
How the list view works
Navigating to the list view
The list view can be used on two levels:
- Within a project: to do this, you either navigate to internal projects via "Our company" or to external projects via "Organizations". As soon as the relevant project has been selected, the list view can be found under the "Tasks" tab.
- Cross-project: In the "Plan and prioritize" area, a complete, cross-project list of all tickets to which the user has access can be called up via the "All tasks" submenu.
Customization of the list view
The list view is highly customizable. The following options are available:
- Quick search: A search field allows the current selection to be searched quickly for specific terms or phrases.
- Filter: Any number of filters can be applied to different columns (e.g. by "Author", "Status" or "Priority"). These filters help to display only certain tickets.
- Manage columns: Columns can be shown and hidden via the gear icon and re-sorted via drag & drop. This is particularly helpful for limiting the view to the most important information.

- Sorting: The sorting of tasks can be customized, e.g. by "Priority", "Creation date" or "Status". Sorting can be ascending or descending and several criteria can be combined.
Saving views

To make your work easier, views of the list can be saved. To do this, use the "Save as new view" button after adjusting the filters and sorting. Here you can assign a title to the view and specify whether this view is only visible to the user or to everyone in the team.
As soon as the view is saved, a new button appears in the bar above the list, which enables quick access to this specific view.
Example:A team leader could save a view that shows all "new" tasks with "high priority" that have been created by a specific team member. This allows them to monitor and update these tasks each time they open the list view.
In addition to a simple list view, the tasks can also be displayed as a Kanban board
