The project component
🟩 Workshop 2: Investigation of the project component
This text is a guide. What types of text are there?
This is how the project component "Coach Performance Package" is created
The web agency Web4Coach offers its coaching clients a clearly defined website product, which it creates in Leadtime as a standardized project component. This component forms the technical and content-related basis for all projects of this type and is structured in such a way that it can be used in series - while at the same time being highly customizable via structured questions.
Structure of the component

The component is called the Coach Performance Package and is divided into six major epics that cover the key phases of the website project:
- Project Start & Technical Preparation
- Define content & structure
- Design
- Technical implementation
- Optimization
- Acceptance & go-live
Each of these epics contains a large number of work packages, which in turn contain specific tasks and requirements. This results in over 40 structured steps that define and standardize the project.
Example: Epic "Project start & technical preparation"

Even before the actual start of the project, the customer receives a checklist with preparatory questions, e.g:
- What is the goal of your website?
- Describe your offer in one sentence.
- Who is your target group?
This checklist helps to make the following strategy call as effective as possible.
In the strategy call itself, the customer is guided through a questionnaire that asks structured questions on topics such as positioning, target group and unique selling points.
Dynamics through conditions

Many of the work packages contain conditions that dynamically control the course of the project:
- If the customer indicates in the "Record design requirements" questionnaire that a photo session is required, an additional work package for the shoot is automatically activated.
- At the same time, the photo session product from the product catalog is added to the project - with a corresponding fixed price.
It works in a similar way when selecting the page types (e.g. homepage, about me, gallery, testimonial). Depending on which pages are required, the appropriate work packages are activated.
Influence on effort and budget
The customer responses have a direct impact on the calculated project costs. Example:
If the customer indicates that an existing design template should be used instead of a customized layout, the effort required in the design phase is reduced considerably.
By systematically querying all requirements, a customized project scope is created - automatically documented and clearly calculated.
Reusability
Once set up, the "Coach Performance Package" can be reused at any time - with clear processes, plannable resources and a definable scope of services.
The advantages for Web4Coach:
- Standardized setup with simultaneous flexibility
- Efficient order clarification and calculation
- Automated quotation generation
- Seamless billing
With this project component, the agency creates a professional, scalable standard process that also takes individual customer requirements into account.
