Document creation in Leadtime
Digital projects are complex - and therefore require professional and transparent documentation. Leadtime supports service providers in creating these documents quickly, automatically and in a structured manner. The focus is on three types of documents:

📄 Quotations
List of prices for all elements in the project
A detailed quote shows the customer at a glance which services will be provided - and at what price. The information is based on the project components, products and any manually added items. The more granular the quotation is structured, the more comprehensible the calculation becomes.
📘 Requirement specifications
Description of all services from the project tree
The requirements specification is the central control document for a project. It documents which services are to be implemented and how - and thus forms a binding basis for the project team and the customer. In Leadtime, the requirements specification is created automatically from the configuration and structure of the project tree.
📂 Other documents
Standardized documents based on the document template system
In addition to quotations and specifications, other document types can also be created, e.g:
- Contracts
- NDAs
- Data protection agreements
- price lists
These documents are based on templates and automatically pull in relevant variables from the project, the organization or the customer profile. This creates correct, formatted documents with up-to-date data in just a few clicks.
Formatting and customization
The presentation of the documents can be customized:
- Workspace level: Uniform corporate design for all documents in the company
- Organization level: Adaptation to customer requirements or CI
- Project level: Individual title pages or formats for specific projects
Leadtime brings structure to the document world of digital projects. Offers, specifications and other documents are created automatically based on the data already maintained - this saves time, increases quality and makes customer communication easier.
Versioning included
A central principle in Leadtime is the linking of documents with the versioning system. Documents are always based on a saved project version - this guarantees consistency and traceability, even in the event of subsequent changes.
