Time spent

In the Time spent tab, you can see all the times booked for the current project - clearly grouped by day and broken down by task. This view is particularly helpful for project managers and those responsible for billing, as it provides a transparent overview of the actual work performed in the project.

The time entries are displayed in a table, which is grouped by date by default. Each day forms its own section with the corresponding entries. The table consists of the following columns:

  • Date: The date on which the time was booked.
  • User: The name of the person who booked the time.
  • Activity: The assigned work activity, e.g. development, management or testing. These activities can be preconfigured in the project settings (→ see: Work packages / Activities).
  • Time spent: The number of hours or minutes booked.
  • Task: The associated ticket to which the time was booked. The task title is clickable and opens the corresponding ticket in an overlay.
  • Comment: Optional text, e.g. describing special circumstances of the work ("Bug was more difficult than expected").

Editing functions

Two icons are available on the right-hand side of each table row:

  • 🗑 Trash can: Deletes the time entry permanently.
  • ✏️ Pen: Opens a dialog for editing the time entry, e.g. to adjust the duration, activity or comment.

Book times

At the top right of the tab you will find the "Book time" button . This allows you to add new time entries - either at project level or directly to a specific task. This is particularly useful for team members who regularly have to add or catch up on time.
