This text is a reference. What types of text are there?
Creating projects
To create projects, navigate to the "Projects" area in the main menu and then create your company's projects using the "Create" button. The projects are sorted by category on the left-hand side. Click on "Create" to open the "Create project" dialog box. Each project is customized with various parameters to ensure optimal control and clarity. Project creation is documented in detail below.

Basic information
- Icon: A visual symbol for better identification of the project. It helps to easily find projects in a large overview.
- Name: The unique name of the project, which should be clear and precise so that the contents of the project can be quickly recognized.
- Type:
- Single: A one-off, completed project with a defined start and end.
- Ongoing: A permanent, continuously running project without a defined end date.
- Internal: A project that is carried out internally, does not directly affect sales and is usually of an administrative nature.
- External: A project that is carried out for a customer and generates revenue.
- Category: Assigns the project to a specific project category, e.g. "Setup", "Development" or "Sales", to enable clear allocation.
- Status: The current status of the project, e.g. "New", "In progress", "Completed". The status helps to track the progress of the project.
- Organization: The organization only needs to be specified if it is an external project.
- Value group:
- A - Direct value-adding: projects that will result in revenue.
- B - Indirectly value-adding: Tasks that are closely related to the company's performance but do not generate revenue
- C - Non-value-adding: Adiministrative activities.
- D - Waste: Tasks that consume resources but do not generate any benefit.
- Brief description: A short, concise description of the project that clarifies the purpose and objective.
- Standard responsible person: The person who by default bears the main responsibility for the project and serves as the contact person.

Options
- Task types: Defines the type of tasks that occur in this project, e.g. "Feature" or "Bug". This helps to organize and prioritize tasks into different categories.
- Activities: The fields of activity that are carried out as part of the project are specified here, e.g. "Development", "Testing", "Management".
- Members: Entire teams or individual users can be assigned to the project here.
- External access: Specifies whether external guest users who belong to the organization may access this project.
User actions
- Save: Saves the project and creates it in the system. The project is now accessible to the teams or persons working on it.
- Cancel: Cancels the project creation without saving any changes.
