Overview: Task management in Leadtime

In Leadtime, all of a company's work takes place within projects - regardless of whether they are customer projects or internal activities such as accounting, marketing or sales. Within these projects, specific tasks are defined, which are organized, processed and completed in the form of tickets.

This structure forms the backbone of task management in Leadtime: every topic that is being worked on is visible as a ticket, can be assigned, allocated time and tracked. In this way, work is not only organized, but also measurable - an important building block for transparency and efficiency in the company.

All recorded tasks are also used for time recording: employees book their working time directly to the respective tasks and projects, which enables a precise evaluation of the work performed.

Ongoing projects and individual projects

Leadtime distinguishes between individual projects and ongoing projects. While individual projects are self-contained undertakings with clear objectives, ongoing projects form the basis for continuous collaboration. As individual projects are generally more complex, a separate section of the documentation is dedicated to them.

💡

Note: This section of the documentation is primarily concerned with the effective use of the ticket system built into Leadtime within ongoing projects, i.e. continuous collaboration with established customers. For the implementation of larger projects based on project components, please refer to the separate chapter "Project management".
