Participants and notifications

How do you become a participant in a task?

• Every user who has been assigned a task is automatically listed as a participant in this task. Even if the task is later assigned to another employee, the original participant remains in the participant list.

• Several people can be participants in a task at the same time, which promotes collaboration and ensures a clear communication channel.

Notifications and muting

• Participants are notified of any updates to the task through Leadtime's notification system. This includes status changes, new comments, changes to the assignment or other relevant updates. This function ensures that all participants are always informed about the current status of the task.

• If a participant temporarily does not wish to receive any notifications, it is possible to mute the notifications. This can be done directly in the task view using the "Mute" button. Despite muting, you remain a participant in the task, but no longer receive any notifications.

Purpose and advantages

• Clear flow of information: Participation in a task ensures that important information is not lost. All previous and current participants are always kept up to date and can intervene or provide feedback if necessary.

• Efficient collaboration: The automatic addition of participants and the notification system promote collaboration. Employees do not have to manually ask what the current status is, but are proactively informed.

• Flexibility through muting: The ability to mute notifications provides flexibility for employees who temporarily don't need updates but still want to stay involved in the task at hand.
