Configuring time recording in the workspace
In the workspace settings of Leadtime, administrators can set a variety of parameters to optimize time tracking in the company. The Attendance section offers various options to make time recording precise and efficient.

Attendance settings
Clocking in and out
Mode: There are two modes: "Simple" and "Enabled". If "Enabled" is selected, employees must actively clock in and out every day. This promotes accurate recording of working time.
Note: If this setting is activated, employees are expected to clock in and out via the Leadtime system every day.
Thresholds for time bookings in the team calendar
The time bookings of all employees for all days can be displayed in the team calendar. This gives team leaders a quick overview of who is behind with their time bookings.
The threshold values defined here can be used to determine when a day's time booking data should be considered good or bad. This helps to identify backlogs at an early stage and intervene if necessary.
Positive threshold value: The time recording is marked as good if the percentage of recorded time is above a certain threshold value. A minimum percentage, e.g. 75%, can be set here to ensure a positive evaluation of the time recording.
Negative threshold: To enable close monitoring of time tracking, a maximum percentage can be set below which time tracking is marked as poor. For example, if an employee records less than 30% of the expected time, this is marked as insufficient.
Standard start and end times
Standard times: The daily working times can be defined here. These standards define the official start and end times of the working day. This is particularly useful for comparing the deviations of the actual clocking times.
Example: The standard start time is 09:00 and the end time is 17:00.
Time recording reminder by minutes
Reminder interval: Administrators can configure an automatic reminder for time recording. If an employee has not started their time tracker for a certain period of time (e.g. 5 minutes), a notification is triggered to remind them to record their working time. In addition, their time tracker will make itself known through audiovisual signals if this is activated in the user's profile settings.
Configuration of time recording at employee level

Specific time recording settings can also be made at individual employee level. These serve to individualize time tracking and ensure that employees and supervisors receive relevant information.
Adjustable options:
Billable hours per day
Here, an individual target can be set for each employee as to how much billable time he or she should achieve per day. Billable time is work in an external project - i.e. work for customers
Observer
This function can be used to assign a supervisor as an "observer" to employees who find it particularly difficult to track their time consistently. This supervisor then receives notifications about gaps in the time recording.
Time recording reminders
Notifications about missed time entries: If this option is activated, the employee will receive a notification the next day if there have been any gaps in their time recording data.
Notificationof missing clock-in: If the employee does not clock in as planned, a notification is sent.
Set time tracking to disruptive mode: This setting puts time tracking into "disruptive mode" if the employee does not start clocking in on time at the specified interval. This serves as a reminder so that tracking is not forgotten.
