In Leadtime ERP, an employee's time recording data can be monitored in detail and over a longer period of time. This function makes it possible to analyze an employee's work performance and time recording habits and, if necessary, to identify potential for optimization. Monitoring is carried out via the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the employee profile:
      • Go to Our Company > Employees.
      • Select the employee whose time recording is to be monitored.
      • Open the Time recording tab in the employee's profile.
  1. Tabular display:
      • The time tracking data is displayed in a table, which is grouped by day by default.
      • Each row of the table contains the following information:
        • Date of time entry.
        • Activity, i.e. the type of activity (e.g. development, design).
        • Time spent: The working time booked.
        • Task: The specific task for which time was booked.
        • Project: The project to which the task belongs.
        • Comment: Additional information on the time booking, if stored.
        • Value group: Indicates whether it is billable time or indirect value-creating activities.
  1. Grouping and totaling:
      • Entries are grouped by day and totaled per day.
      • The total time of a day is compared with the contractually agreed working time and displayed as a percentage. For example, an entry of 9.5 hours with a contractual working time of 8 hours means that 119% of the daily target has been achieved.
  1. Period selection and adjustment:
      • In the Date drop-down menu, the time period to be displayed can be specified (e.g. current or previous month).
      • This allows the user to view an evaluation over a specific period and compare the totaled hours with the agreed hours.
  1. Sort and filter options:
      • The data can be sorted and grouped according to various criteria, e.g. by week or month.
      • It is possible to configure columns and add or remove them as required.
  1. Save view:
      • Interesting evaluations can be saved as a view to be reused with other employees.

These functions enable managers to analyze an employee's time recording in a structured and comprehensive manner and to make individual adjustments as required.
