The company data section is used to store the basic information and master data of your own company. This data includes important administrative and legal details that are required for the correct management of the company in the Leadtime application. The purpose of this area is to ensure that all relevant information is up to date in order to guarantee the correct handling of internal processes and compliance with legal requirements.
Purpose:
The purpose of the company data area is to record and manage the company's legal and administrative information. In particular, this includes master data, the company's address, contact information, tax details and an optional description of the company's business activities. This data is the basis for using Leadtime and is used in various areas of the software, e.g. for invoicing or managing projects.
Elements of the company data area
1. master data
- Company name: The official name of the company is entered here. This name is displayed and used in various areas of the application, e.g. on invoices or in reports. Example: Leadtime Labs GmbH.
- Legal form: The legal organizational form of the company can be selected in this drop-down menu. Common options are limited liability company (GmbH), stock corporation (AG), sole proprietorship, etc. This information is used in official documents.
2. address
- Country: The country in which the company is based is selected here. This information is relevant for tax purposes and can affect the standard vacation days of employees.
- Zip code: The zip code of the company's registered office is entered in this field. This facilitates the correct localization of the company.
- City: The city in which the company headquarters is located is entered here. This is also important for official documents and the localization of the company.
- Street: The input field for the street name where the company is located. Example: Yorckstraße.
- House number: Enter the house number of the company headquarters. This completes the address and is necessary for postal items and official documents.
3. contact
- Telephone: The official telephone number of the company is entered in this field. This information is often used in invoices and other external documents to facilitate contact.
- E-mail: The company's official e-mail address is entered here. This e-mail address is used for communication with customers and other partners.
- Website: The URL of the company website is entered in this field. This information can be used in communication with customers and partners and is an optional but useful part of the company data.
- Fax: Optional field for the company's fax number if a fax machine is still in use. In many modern companies, this field is not mandatory.
4. taxes
- Tax number: The company's tax number is entered here. This is relevant for invoicing and tax processing.
- Register number: The company's commercial register number is entered in this field. This number is required for all registered companies and is displayed on official documents such as contracts or invoices.
- Register court: The competent register court at which the company is registered is entered here. This is relevant for legal matters and the registration of the company. Example: Regensburg district court.
5. other
What we do: A brief description of the company's business activities can be entered in this optional field. Example: Manufacturer of Leadtime - an integrated ERP system for software service providers.
Button: Update
This button saves all changes that have been made to the company data. As soon as the data has been entered or changed, it must be saved by clicking on the Updatebutton. All changes take effect immediately and are used throughout the application.
