Introduction to the "Your company" area

Notion image

The " Your company" area is used for the internal organization and administration of a company. This is where all the company's data, processes and resources are recorded centrally. While external partners such as customers and suppliers are managed in the "Organizations" area, this area focuses exclusively on internal structures.

It includes the management of employees, teams, projects, internal processes and other central resources. The area ensures that all important information is available in one place to enable a clear overview and simple maintenance of company data.

The area is divided into the following submenu items:

Employees

All company employees are managed centrally in the Employees area. Here you have access to all relevant information about your employees, which can be viewed and updated as required:

-Master data: Basic information such as name, e-mail address, position and other personal details.

-Time recording: All working hours recorded by the employee, clearly displayed and easy to follow.

-Vacation management: Overview of requested, planned and already taken vacation days for each employee.

-Sick leave: A complete history of all absences due to illness.

-Overtime management: Analysis and tracking of overtime and support with compensation.

-Salary development: A salary history that documents the entire history of salary developments and increases.

-Journal: A personal notebook for each employee in which observations, feedback and target agreements can be recorded.

This area provides a central point of contact to simplify personnel administration and keep important information to hand at all times.

Teams

Teams are used for the efficient organization of employees in groups. They make it possible to assign entire teams to a project, whereby all team members are automatically assigned to the corresponding tasks. This makes planning and administration much easier.

Company settings

This area is the central point for setting up and maintaining your company's master data. It is particularly relevant when setting up Leadtime for the first time and allows you to configure basic data such as address, tax numbers or legal information.

Internal projects

Notion image

Leadtime distinguishes between external and internal projects. External projects refer to customer orders, while internal projects include all internal company activities, such as accounting, marketing, sales or one-off initiatives such as the development of a new product.

Internal work is also recorded in Leadtime and evaluated in detail on the basis of employees' time bookings. The aim is to provide company management with a transparent overview of how available capacities are being used and which internal processes are taking up resources.

Product catalog

Notion image

The product catalog contains the company's standardized services and products. Products and services can be stored here with price models. This is particularly helpful for creating quotations and invoices efficiently.

The product catalog in Leadtime enables companies to record and standardize their services and products in a structured manner. This makes it easier to repeat services and ensures clear pricing logic.

Component library

A project component is a template for a project. It contains all typical work packages in a generic form that are relevant for projects of this type. The project component serves as a structural basis for new projects and ensures standardized processes in project planning

Project components are particularly useful for companies that have recurring projects with a similar structure. Instead of creating a project from scratch each time, you can use ready-made components that contain all the essential steps.

Vacation

Notion image

Every employee is entitled to a certain number of vacation days per year. In Leadtime, the number of vacation days is stored individually for each employee. The system helps to keep track of when which employee takes vacation and how many vacation days have already been taken.

Functions of the vacation manager

  • Submit vacation requests
    • Employees can apply for vacation directly via Leadtime. They select the desired period and send the request for approval.

  • Checking the company's workload
    • When submitting a leave request, the employee can see how the workload in the company looks for the desired period. In this way, bottlenecks can be avoided.

  • Approval or rejection of leave
    • Supervisors or responsible persons can check employees' vacation requests and approve or reject them depending on the operational situation.

  • Monitoring leave accounts
    • The vacation manager automatically keeps a record of each employee's used and remaining vacation days. This makes it possible to see how much remaining leave is available at any time.
