Monitor time recording on ticket
🟥 The time statistics in Leadtime ERP show all time bookings on a ticket and enable detailed analysis and adjustment of working times.
This text is a reference. What types of text are there?
In Leadtime ERP, tickets are often passed between different team members, and each team member posts their working time to the respective ticket. These working hours add up and are continuously compared with the original plan. Sometimes it is necessary to analyze in detail who has booked how much time on a ticket and when. This analysis is possible directly at ticket level - in the right-hand column next to the ticket description in the Time frame section.
How to proceed

- Call up the time frame:
Open the ticket for which you want to check the time tracking data. In the right-hand column, you will find the Time frame section, which shows the time booked so far in relation to the planned time.
- Overview of the booked time:

A tooltip shows the exact number of hours booked on this task when you hover over the time frame. This helps to recognize the exact amount of time spent and to identify any deviations.
- Detailed view of time entries:
Click on the time frame to see a detailed view of all time bookings on that task. All team member entries are listed here with date, activity, time spent and comments.
This enables a precise analysis and tracking of each time entry, making discrepancies and optimization potential visible.
Time statistics

The time statistics dialog enables a detailed analysis of the working time booked on a ticket and provides an overview of all time bookings made for the selected ticket. Here, users can see which team members have spent how much time at which times and on which activities. The time statistics help project managers to keep an eye on progress in relation to the planned time and to take appropriate action in the event of deviations.
Structure and functions of the time statistics dialog
- Heading and title of the ticket
The title of the ticket is displayed prominently at the top of the dialog. This helps to directly recognize the connection between the ticket and the corresponding time bookings.
- Total accumulated time
The total accumulated time for all working hours booked on the ticket is displayed directly below the title. This information shows how much time was spent on this ticket in total.
- Filter optionsThe dialog offers various filter options to search or sort the time bookings according to certain criteria:
- Date: Displays all time bookings sorted by date.
- User: Filters the time bookings according to specific users so that only the bookings of a specific team member are displayed.
- Activity: Filters the bookings by activity, e.g. "Development", "Design", "Management". This is particularly useful for analyzing the distribution of time across different task types.
- Time spent: Shows the hours booked for each time booking.
- Comment: Shows individual comments entered during the booking to explain the context or type of activity performed.
- List of time bookings
- Date: The exact date on which the time booking was made.
- User: The name of the team member who made the booking.
- Activity: The category of the activity (e.g. development, design, management) that was booked on the ticket.
- Time spent: The duration of the booking in hours and minutes.
- Comment: A free text comment, often used as a note, to record details of the specific activity.
The list shows all previous time bookings on this ticket in chronological order. Each line contains:
- Edit and delete function
- Edit: Allows the user to subsequently change the details of the time booking. Activities, time spent and comments can be adjusted here.
- Delete: Removes the time booking from the statistics. This action should be used with caution as the booking is irrevocably removed.
There are edit and delete icons next to each individual time booking:
- Add time bookingIn the upper right area of the dialog, there is a Book time button to add new bookings directly in the time statistics dialog. This is helpful if subsequent time bookings need to be made on the ticket. The booking process includes:
- Selecting the date
- Assigning the activity
- Entering the duration
- Adding a comment to the activity.
