Git-Services
🟥 Manage GitHub and GitLab connections to seamlessly integrate code repositories into Leadtime projects.

Overview
Please note: Although the two GIT services are currently connected, they cannot yet be actively used.

The Git services section in the Leadtime workspace settings allows you to seamlessly connect external Git repositories such as GitHub and GitLab to your Leadtime account. This integration allows development projects to be linked directly to the corresponding code repositories, making project coordination and management much easier.
Functions and options
Add Git service
- To create a new connection to a Git service, click on the "Add" button.
- Enter a name for the connection that uniquely identifies the service.
- Select the type of service (GitHub or GitLab).
- Enter the URL of the Git server (e.g. https://github.com/ or https://gitlab.com/).
- Save the entries to activate the connection.
Managing existing connections
- After successful setup, the added Git services appear in a list.
- You can manage the existing connections using the Edit (pencil icon) and Delete (trash can icon) icons.
- Changes to the name or URL are possible at any time, as is the removal of connections that are no longer required.
Using the Git integration
The Git integration makes it possible to link project management in Leadtime with version control and code management in GitHub or GitLab.
This link is particularly helpful for reflecting updates in the code directly in the project status and synchronizing tasks with the corresponding repositories.
